Flying across the Pond couldn’t be any easier when flying into the airport of entry, Executive Air KGRB. This fixed based operator can handle all your aviation needs when flying international.
For our clients convenience at Executive Air we have US Customs & Immigration “on site” to ensure you have “The Smoothest Approach into Green Bay (KGRB), in addition Executive Air offers “no charge” International trash disposal. The United States does not require you to land at an airport of entry (international airport) upon exiting the US. However, for your ease and convenience, and to avoid unnecessary hassles on your return flight, Executive Air recommends visiting a designated customs office on the way out of the country to make your necessary declarations (money, jewelry, electronics etc.) and return through same customs office to clear you on your return flight.
Executive Air offers a full suite of aviation services and a first class facility, with large conference rooms, a game room equipped with a pool table, home theater lounge, business center, wireless internet service, private pilot sleeping rooms, kitchenette, showers and our facility includes multiple plush lounge areas for you and your cabin crew to enjoy while your aircraft is being prepared for its onward journey.
At Executive Air we care about your needs, whether it is quick turn refueling, aircraft detailing, line maintenance or catering needed for your international traveling, we are committed to providing our customers with efficient, effective, superior customer service and exceptional operational expertise. We have built our reputation on providing excellence from the moment you touch down at our facility until the time you leave.
Flying internationally for the first time can make some pilots apprehensive, especially for pilots that haven’t flown over water before, but with a little extra planning and some additional paperwork you will find flying over “The Pond” to be a safe, hassle free, enjoyable experience.
Executive Air takes pride when handling your aircraft. All our Line Service Technicians are trained and certified under the rigorous standards of the National Air Transportation Association’s Safety 1st Program, (NATA certified). Executive Air offers complete maintenance capabilities for line services, inspections, repairs and support.
We would recommend prior to international travel that pilots confirm that you have all your standard aircraft and pilot documents that are required for any flight; a pilot certificate, a current medical, and airworthiness certification. Have your “permanent” aircraft registration certificate (required for international traveling), operating limitations with weight and balance for the aircraft. You will also need a radiotelephone operator’s license for you and a radio station license for the aircraft when traveling internationally. Also confirm with your insurance agent that you will be insured in country you will be traveling to. If going over any body of water the U.S. Coast Guard requires life jackets for each occupant and recommends a life boat.
When first landing into a foreign country or returning back to the United States, it must be an airport of entry and it is the pilots responsibility to inform the customs officials prior to arrival. If your flight is one hour or less, call the customs office at your destination before takeoff to assure at least one-hour notice. Finally, carry proof of citizenship for all crew and passengers.
For the complete and most updated information on customs procedures, download the “Guide for Private Flyers” from the CBP’s Travel page: www.cbp.gov.

Executive Air Fixed Based Operation (FBO) & VIP Terminal out of the Midwest is no stranger to international travel overseas and for our customers convenience we have put together this international travel list to aid our customers in having the safest, smoothest international travel experience possible.
At Executive Air we want to aid in making your international travel to be hassle free and an overall safe, enjoyable travel experience. However during your international travels there is a possibility you could encounter unpredictable situations, if you are not prepared for those situations overseas they can quickly turn into long delays, unexpected fines, to even life threatening situations.
International travel today requires a passport. Most countries also require a visa and possibly even a work permit if you will be conducting company business for an extended period of time.
Depending on what country you are traveling to overseas they may require immunizations for entry into the country; or for your added protection the CDC might have recommendations to vaccinations to be taken for your added protection, in higher risk areas. We would recommend in these situations for you to carry your immunization book with you.
Per the US State Department; “Check with your doctor well in advance of your planned departure and visit for the most recent updated international travel health information . For information about pandemic influenza, see or the website above. Information about infectious diseases abroad may also be found on the website of the World Health Organization at and further health information for travelers is available here.”Helpful sites to aid you in preparing for your international travels and can answer a majority of your questions with the most current information:

- US State Departments- Consular Affairs- Travel Warnings
- US Embassy Information and Websites Worldwide
- World Currency Converter
- Time Zone Converter

Travel Documents to Take with You
Travel Documents to Take with You
- Passport with required visas (passport should be valid for at least six months from start of trip).
- Copy of your passport (photo and visa pages) and other travel documents.
- Visas for entry into countries to be visited, including those which you will transit.
- Alien registration card (green card) or valid visa for re-entry into the USA - non-US citizens.
- Health book (record of immunizations.
- International Flight Plan (many countries require round international flight plan for entry).
- Drivers license - State (i.e. Wisconsin).
- Drivers license - International (available from AAA).
- Fax, telex or letter stating that your visa will be available upon arrival for countries who do not issue visas outside their country. (ie UAE, Oman, etc.).
- Traveler checks (exchange for local currency as needed at a bank).
- Major international credit cards (ie. American Express, Diners, and VISA/MasterCard)
- Telephone numbers at destinations and addresses in countries to be visited - may be needed for landing cards.
- Commercial invoice for laptop computers, etc. - check with the destination office on this. Receipts or registration paperwork should do. See the U.S. Customs document Know Before You Go for additional advise.
Per PC WORLD, “You risk trouble every time you carry a laptop across an international border, and that includes returning home. Most countries allow custom officials to search anything you bring into their country, including the contents of your hard drive. They may even insist that you decrypt anything that's encrypted. And different countries may have different definitions of espionage and pornography.
If there's anything on your hard drive that might cause trouble, remove it before you leave the country: Make an extra backup, then securely remove it with a program like Eraser. If you're going to need the information on your trip, email it to yourself or ftp it to someplace on the Internet from where you can retrieve it.” Review the full article on your laptop and international travel.

Can the Giants go to Titletown on this run and do the unthinkable? The question is too much, too little or not enough…
No doubt both teams will be showing up. The Packers have home field, “Lambeau Leap”, advantage and the Giants have earned the reputation for being “On the Road Warriors”. There have been plenty of comparisons between the Giants XLII Super Bowl Champs and the Green Bay Packers XLV Super Bowl Champs. History will be made on Lambeau Field this upcoming Sunday, Aaron Rodgers and Eli Manning will be the first Super Bowl MVP quarterbacks to start against each other in a playoff game.
The Green Bay Packers are picked to win it, but there is no denying that the Giants despite being called the underdog will be a worthy opponents and this will be a great game to watch. For the most part the teams are evenly matched. The question comes down to, too much, too little or not enough. Victory is going to be defined by balance.
The records of progression of both team speaks volumes. The Giants big wins in the past against the Patriots and the Broncos, have given them a reputation of being the upset. The Green Bay Packers are ranked #1 of the
NFC divisional playoffs. The defending champs hold an impressive15-1 record. The Packers are prepared and ready for the Super Bowl run. The loss to Kansas City can work to the Packers advantage, only strengthening both the Packers mental and field game.
NFC divisional playoffs. The defending champs hold an impressive15-1 record. The Packers are prepared and ready for the Super Bowl run. The loss to Kansas City can work to the Packers advantage, only strengthening both the Packers mental and field game.
It is impossible to overlook one of the most disappointing games ever: an overtime loss in the 2007 NFC Championship Game. Green Bay has the opportunity to rewrite history and make it right. The Spirit in Titletown is shared unanimously, “The Green Bay Packers are ready to win the super bowl and the Packers are the best team in football in the NFL”. The city of Green Bay and the Green Bay Packers intend for the Lombardi Trophy to remain home in Green Bay, aka, Titletown. Both teams can handle the cold weather; however, the Packers are prepared not to let 2007 history repeat itself and their focus can’t go without notice. I think the fence outside Lambeau Field says it best, “One Heart, One Mind, One Goal”.
Green Bay anticipates record breaking crowd turn out. Many fans and spectators will be flying in on either commercial or private aircrafts. Where it stands today we are today the snow is coming down strong and the weather outlook is a cold and windy for Sunday big show down.
Executive Air like both the Giants and the Packers is no stranger to crowds, noise and weather. The cold weather that the “Frozen Tundra” has to offer and it’s no wonder they have over 70,000 square feet of heated hanger space and 538,000 square feet of Ramp space. At Executive Air FBO their team is prepared with efforts covering everything from adding extra ground support staff to bringing in extra equipment to make sure we eliminate all fumbles. Executive Air’s Boom De-Icers and experienced line crew are prepared to handle all the weather conditions.
